ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Beer lovers mark your calendars.
On July 15, Deschutes Street Pub is returning to the Star City!
At the 2016 event, 22,000 people attended 241 kegs were tapped, resulting in $81,000 raised for local non-profits.
Organizers said they were blown away with the record-breaking response here compared to larger markets.
“For a community of our size, going up against Sacramento, Philly, Denver, Minneapolis, and D.C., you know, big population base, for us this is just a testimonial that we really are welcoming them here as a corporate partner,” explained Pete Eshelman, Director of Roanoke Outside Foundation.
