Feedback wanted for redevelopment project in Roanoke County

Deadline to submit feedback is April 21

ROANOKE COUNTY – The deadline to give your feedback on a major redevelopment project in Roanoke County is approaching.

The county wants to build a town center on Route 419 in the Tanglewood Mall area.

The proposal includes an open air market, lined with stores instead of an enclosed mall.

The roads would have fewer traffic lights and a diverging diamond as well as sidewalks and bike lanes.

The plans will go before the planning commission in May, and if approved, before the board of supervisors in June.

You have until April 21 to fill out the survey to give your thoughts.
