Food City will be selling $5 bags of groceries people can buy, which will be donated to Pulaski Daily Bread.

Each person who purchases a bag of groceries will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win $1,000 from OneMain Financial.

Pulaski Daily Bread serves nearly 200 people every day during the summer months.

“Daily Bread has fought this battle for the last 30 years -- to make sure individuals in our community who are in need have one nourishing meal per day,” said Daily Bread Program Director Debra Harrell in a press release.

Pulaski Daily Bread is located in the basement of the First Presbyterian Church on Jefferson Avenue.
