Here's a look at some of the stories we'll be following today

Country music superstar Trace Adkins comes to Salem tonight.  Adkins has countless hits at the top of the charts and has sold over 10 million albums.  Jordan Ragar is the opening act.  Tickets for tonight's 7:30 show start at $30.

People will go Over the Edge for Big Brothers Big Sisters.  People who raised $1,000, will climb down the Patrick Henry building in downtown Roanoke.  WSLS 10's Rachel Lucas and Brittany Flowers will take the plunge today.  Over the past three year, Big Brothers Big Sisters has raised more than a quarter of a million dollars.  A group of students from Hidden Valley High School will also go over the edge.

Glen Maury Park in Buena Vista is home to the Fish and Pick Festival starting today.  The family friendly event combines trout fishing and bluegrass music.  Events take place today and tomorrow.  It's $10 for adults and free for kids.

LOVE letters come to Lexington's Jordan's Point Park starting today.  The artwork travels the state, making stops in popular destinations and for events.  The artwork is part of the Virginia is for Lovers campaign, designed to promote family friendly vacations in the Commonwealth.

The Giles County Historical Society opens its newest building today.  "The Barn" adds 1,000 square feet of exhibit space and will be used to display the society's agricultural equipment and tools collections.

Salem After Five returns to the Farmers Market tonight.  "The Kings" will take to the stage.  In addition to music, there is food, ice cream and a kids area.  The event begins at 5:30 p.m.

Today is National Hepatitis Testing Day.  According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, hepatitis C is the most common form of the virus, killing 19,000 people in the U.S. each year.  In Virginia, the number of infections is up 50 percent when compared with the average over the last five years.  You can get tested by visiting your doctor or the Virginia Department of Health.

Lane closures on Interstate 81 in Botetourt County could affect your commute if you have plans this weekend.  From 6:30 tonight to 10:30 Saturday morning and from 6 p.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Sunday, the right northbound lane will be closed from between mile markers 150 and 151.5.  Crews will be milling and paving the highway.  The ramp from Route 220 may close from time to time because of the work.
