Salem-Roanoke Co. Chamber helping businesses connect

Twenty-five businesss owners registered for event

SALEM, Va. – The Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce is helping businesses connect.

The chamber hosted an open roundtable discussion for small-business owners on some of the struggles they're facing, and success they're enjoying.

They've only had this once before; previously, the event attracted four people, but this time, a total of 25 business owners registered for the event.

The discussion is part of helping to attract potential members to the chamber.

Attendance at "events like this show that you really care and that you're trying to make your business the best it can be," said Kaitlyn Belcher of the Salem Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber also brought in a featured speaker to help address issues of stress and anxiety.
