Lynchburg police looking for suspect after reported theft, credit card fraud

LYNCHBURG – The Lynchburg Police Department is investigating a reported theft from a vehicle and credit card fraud.

Police say it was reported on May 26, when a person said their vehicle had been broken into. The person said someone had stolen a wallet with credit cards, two pairs of Costa Sunglasses, a Yeti Cooler, and a pair of hair clippers.

Later that day, police say a woman entered the 7/Eleven convenience store on Bedford Avenue in Lynchburg and attempted to complete a transaction. 

The suspect is described as a white woman with red hair, wearing a black shirt with multicolored writing. 

Police say she possibly left the scene in a gray in color pickup truck.
