Man caught with more than 1,000 fake drugs at Bonnaroo
New Yorker claimed to be 'doing God's work'
A New York man attending the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn., was caught with more than 1,000 fake drugs.
The Tennessean reports David E. Brady, 45, was approached after officers saw him with what looked like narcotics in one of the festival tents. Brady threw the items behind him, and when he stood up, officers could see a bag of mushrooms hanging from his waist band.
Upon searching Brady, authorities recovered 37 pills made to look like molly, 22 bags of fake mushrooms, 1,000 hits of fake acid, 20 bags of fake cocaine, and one incense stick made to look like black tar heroin. Brady told officers he was "doing God's work."
Brady was charged with two counts of possession of counterfeit controlled substance.
