Father accused of rubbing hot sauce in his 2-month-old daughter's eyes
MOORHEAD, Minn. – A Minnesota man accused of rubbing hot sauce and cayenne pepper into the eyes of his 2-month-old daughter faces multiple charges, according to KBJR.
The NBC affiliate reports Shawn Foltz, 31, is charged with neglect of a child, malicious punishment of a child and two counts of third-degree assault, all felonies.
Authorities say he also snapped the infant with a towel, burned her by spraying hot water in her face, threw fireworks at her and kept her from breathing until she turned blue.
Foltz accused the victim's 3-year-old brother of causing the injuries by hitting the baby with a toy gun, according to authorities.
