Storm causes flooding in downtown Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. – Storms that rolled through Roanoke on Thursday evening caused flooding in downtown.

By 8 p.m., the water levels greatly receded in downtown.

A sign is posted at the Towers Kroger saying that the store is closed due to weather.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for the city expired at 7 p.m.
