Former Charlottesville officer charged with sexually assaulting woman

Trail takes place in December

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va – Ronna Gary says she did not want to report the incident of a Charlottesville police officer sexually assaulting her, saying she would have taken it to the grave.

The alleged victim testified in April that Christopher Seymore forced her to perform sex acts twice.

A Charlottesville Grand Jury has now indicted the 25 year-old on two counts of sodomy.

Seymore is no longer a police officer.

Gary says she is being harassed at her home, where the alleged incident happened, and does not feel safe.

Seymore's two day trial is set to start on December 7th.
