Henry County Sheriff's Office issuing reminder after pawn shop gun theft

Gun stolen from Collinsville pawn shop Monday

COLLINSVILLE, Va. – The Henry County Sheriff's Office is issuing a reminder for businesses selling guns.

The sheriff's office has released surveillance camera photos of a man who deputies say stole a .40 caliber handgun from a display case at Riverside Pawn in Collinsville Monday afternoon.

According to Sheriff Lane Perry, it appears people distracted the employees while the man stole the gun.

The sheriff's office is reminding businesses to lock their display cases.

The case in the pawn shop didn't have one.
