Here's a look at some of the stories we'll be following today


McAlister's Deli celebrates Iced Tea Month with Free Tea Day.  Today, you can stop by a McAlister's restaurant and and get a free 32-ounce glass of iced tea, unsweet black tea or green tea. 

Angels of Assisi holds a mobile vaccination clinic today.  You can take your pet to the Fallon Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Rabies vaccinations are $5, flea and tick prevention is $10 and rabies and distemper vaccinations and microchips are $20.

Restoration Housing kicks off another home restoration project today.  The turn-of-the-century home is located on Patterson Avenue in Roanoke.  This will be the second rehab project for the non-profit.  Restoration Housing's mission is to help low income families while also reducing vacancies and increasing property values.

A street closure in Lynchburg could affect your evening plans.  The 1,100 block of 12th Street will be closed from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. as Columbia Gas works in this area.  People living there will still have access to their homes, but other traffic will be detoured.
