Missing North Carolina woman found alive in Virginia Beach

Allison Cope, 24, disappeared Monday

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – A woman who disappeared from a North Carolina airport has been found alive in Virginia Beach, the Associated Press News reported Sunday.

Allison Cope, 24, who worked at a Starbucks at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport, was last seen at a gas station about an hour after leaving the airport property Monday, police said. She was reported missing four hours after taking a work break at 3 p.m.

Airport officials said there was no evidence she was under duress.

No other details were immediately released.
