Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection to hold adoption event

RCACP to hold adoption event in support of Feeding America Southwest Virginia

ROANOKE, Va. – In support of Feeding America Southwest Virginia, the Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection will host an adoption event on Saturday, July 8, 2017, between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. to place homeless pets in new homes.

The RCACP appreciates the need for fighting hunger in our area.

This adoption event will help reduce our population before the busy  season.

Upon an approved application, adoption fees are waived with food donations for Feeding America Southwest Virginia. Arrive early to get your pick of the litter.

Feeding America Southwest Virginia was founded in 1981 and proudly commemorates 36 years of fighting hunger and changing lives through community partnerships.

The Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection serves the City of Roanoke, the counties of Botetourt and Roanoke, and the Town of Vinton, and is an “open intake facility.”Â
