The AP said he’s charged with interfering with a flight crew. He could get up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

Hudek came out of a bathroom on the flight from Seattle to Beijing and tried for an exit door in first class, according to a criminal complaint.

Two flight attendants tried to stop him. That’s when authorities said one of them broke the wine bottle on him, the AP said.

The flight had to turn back to Seattle after takeoff because of the incident, where Hudek was arrested.
