Two women fall 20 feet into abandoned building

Lynchburg police say five people were trespassing early this morning

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Two women were injured Monday morning after they fell 20 feet through the window of an abandoned building, according to police.

Lynchburg police say five people were trespassing at the old Virginia School of the Arts building around 3 a.m. Police say the two women were trying to look inside the building and fell through a window 20 feet down into the building. They say a man who was with them climbed down and helped them out.

Their injuries are not life-threatening. Three men have been charged with trespassing. Police have not commented on potential charges for the two women.
