Five arrested, charged with multiple Bedford County thefts

Thefts happened between mid-June and mid-July

BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. – The Bedford County Sheriff's Office has arrested five people it says are responsible for multiple thefts.

The Sheriff's Office says the thefts happened between the mid-June and mid-July from the Stewartsville and Moneta areas of the county.

Warrants for all five individuals were obtained Monday and all five were also arrested Monday, according to the Sheriff's Office.

William E. Pack, 36, of Vinton, faces five counts of grand larceny and five counts of larceny with the intent to sell. He was transported to the Bedford Adult Detention and is being held without bond.

Tony Begley, 51, who lives on Stewartsville Road, faces two counts of grand larceny and two counts of larceny with the intent to sell. He was transported to the Bedford Adult Detention Center and is being held with bond.

Larry Ellis, 44, who lives on Stewartsville Road, faces a count of grand larceny and a count of larceny with the intent to sell. He was transported to the Bedford Adult Detention Center and is being held with bond.

Nora Bailey, 46, who lives on Stewartsville Road, faces a count of grand larceny and a count of larceny with the intent to sell. She was transported to the Bedford Adult Detention Center and is being held on bond.

Daphine Pack, 41, of Vinton, was charged with one count of grand larceny and one count of larceny with the intent to sell. She was transported to the Bedford Adult Detention Center and released on bond.
