Man charged with concealing dead body after remains found in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. – The man police say used a Roanoke missing woman's credit card now faces a charge of concealing a dead body.

In addition to that charge, Dayshaun Kent also faces charges of credit card theft and credit card fraud in Roanoke City Circuit Court, according to online court records.

These charges come a little more than a week after police found human remains in the 2700 block of Radford Road near Tinker Creek.

Edme Merle-Perez was last seen March 3 and search warrants say the man she was living with at the time of her disappearance was Kent.

Police have not yet released the identity of the skeletal remains.
