BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. – A Campbell County woman is dead after a crash on Route 834 Monday morning.
Paula Cox Wood, 64, of Lynch Station, who wasn't wearing her seat belt, died at the scene of the Bedford County crash, according to state police.

Police are investigating the crash that happened at 8:58 a.m. on Route 834, at its intersection with Route 253.
A 2008 Saturn Astra was traveling west on Route 834 when it ran off the right side of the road and hit a tree, according to police.
The crash remains under investigation.
