DANVILLE, Va. – Danville crews responded to a gas leak after construction workers hit a gas line Friday morning.
The 400 and 500 blocks of Craghead Streer were briefly shut down while crews investigated.

City of Danville construction workers hit a 1-inch service gas line around 7:30 a.m., according to a spokesman for the city of Danville. The line has been shut off and will be repaired Friday morning.
No customers along the street are affected.
