USPS planning to reopen Pulaski Post Office

It's been closed since July 20

PULASKI, Va. – The United States Postal Service says it's planning to reopen the post office in Pulaski.

The post office has been closed since July 20.

The post office was temporarily closed due to water intrusion, which caused concern about the flooring in the building, according to a letter from the Postal Service to Sen. Mark Warner, who represents Virginia.

Repairs are now being made to the building so that it can be reopened in the near future.

Officials anticipate completion within 90 days, according to the letter.
