Haley Toyota, three other groups team up to help victims of Harvey

Haley Toyota hopes to fill Grand Home Furnishing trailer with donated items

ROANOKE, Va. – Haley Toyota of Roanoke is joining forces with three other groups to help the victims of Harvey.

Starting Thursday, Haley Toyota, Grand Home Furnishing, New Virginia Economy and Exalted Church are working together to collect non perishables including dry goods, water and blankets from the community.

Their hope is to fill the Grand Home Furnishing trailer which is parked at Haley Toyota.

“This is what it's all about. We have to come together and do what's right for the people out there,” said host Mike Hamlar, of new Virginia Economy.

“Water seems to be a big deal down there, so we want you to bring water bottles and other non perishables,” said general manager Chuck Baker, of Haley Toyota.

The groups will be collecting donated items at Haley Toyota until Sept 6.
