Lynchburg police: 10 teenagers charged in series of larcenies


LYNCHBURG, Va. – Lynchburg police are charging 10 teenagers in a series of larcenies that happened on or around July 31. 

Items were taken from vehicles in the following areas: Fleetwood Drive, Federal Street, Hood Street, Wadsworth Street and Lakeside Drive. 

Only one of the suspects is being identified, as he is the only legal adult. Samuel Christopher Reeves, 18, of Lynchburg, is charged with the unauthorized use of a vehicle. 

One 13-year-old, five 15-year-olds and three 16-year-olds are also charged. 

They have all either been arrested already or have petitions pending.
