STAUNTON, Va. – The trial of a Bath County woman charged with killing her 6-year-old daughter will now take place in Staunton Circuit Court.
The case against Darla Hise is scheduled to begin October 23.
The trial began last week, but Judge Michael Irvine declared a mistrial, saying it was not possible to seat an impartial jury In Bath County.
Hise is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Abigail, in February.
Bath County Sheriff Robber Plecker said this was one of the worst crime scenes he's seen in the last 30 years.
