Sheriff's office investigates Amherst County car break-ins

AMHERST COUNTY, Va. – In the past week, thieves have broken into more than 12 vehicles in Amherst County, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The incidents have happened in the Sugar Mill Subdivision, Bobwhite/Ebenezer Road and Green Hill Road areas of the county.

The Sheriff’s Office is offering a reward for information that leads to the prosecution of those responsible.
