Roanoke police investigating trio of Saturday night robberies

Police say the three could be related

ROANOKE, Va. – Roanoke police are investigating multiple Saturday night burglaries that may be related.

At 9:04 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the Quick Way Foot Mart on Melrose Avenue Northwest to investigate a burglary. Police believe someone threw a rock through the front glass door, entered the store, took cash from the register and left.

At 11:53 a.m., officers responded to Star Auto Sales, on Peters Creek Road Northwest to investigate a burglary there. Police say someone kicked in a door and stole money and other items.

At 12:26 p.m., police responded to Best Auto Sales on Salem Turnpike Northwest to investigate a burglary. Police say multiple people entered the business and took money.

No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
