Campbell County Sheriff's Office reports more vehicle thefts, asks for public's help
Campbell County continues to have problems with vehicle thefts, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
On Friday, an Audi A6 Quattro and Suzuki 600 were stolen. The Sheriff's Office says the Audi was stolen from Buffalo Lane and the motorcycle was stolen from Old Rustburg Road.
The Sheriff's Office says these nine vehicles were stolen from the county within the past month:
CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. –
2009 Ford F-150 (recovered in Bedford County). This truck was stolen from the Rustburg area, Aug. 28.
A 2001 Dodge Ram Pick-up. This truck was stolen from Rustburg Sept. 1 and it was found abandoned in Campbell County.
A 1996 Honda Accord, white in color with a black bumper. This vehicle was stolen from the Timberlake area Sept. 1 and has not been recovered.
A 2012 Ford Escape was stolen near Russell Springs. This vehicle has black wheels and it was stolen Sept. 8 and was found abandoned off Campbell Highway Sept. 20.
A 2016 Kia Optima was stolen Sept. 8 in the same general area as the Ford Escape near the Russell Springs subdivision and has not been recovered.
A 2000 Ford Ranger XLT was stolen Sept. 10 from Evington and has not been recovered.
A 1998 Audi A6 Quattro (white in color and it has a sunroof). The Virginia tag that was on the vehicle is NEE-T08. However, often times tags are switched after a vehicle is stolen.
A 2004 Suzuki 600 Motorcycle (black and yellow in color) The Virginia tag number is 975004. The motorcycle was stolen from Old Rustburg Road in Campbell County.
A 1998 Chevrolet Blazer gold in color (the tags have been removed from the vehicle). Last seen in Amherst Plantation in Amherst County.
