Indiana State Police mistakenly took an actor filming a movie for an armed robber and shot at him, reports local news station WRTV.
Officials say police were called to the Back Step Brewing Company after a person reported seeing a man in a mask, carrying what appeared to be a gun and entering the back of the building.
Officers arrived to the scene where they saw the actor, Jeff Duff, in a mask. Police fired at Duff when he turned toward officers, but struck a building. Duff removed his mask and dropped the prop gun, telling officers he was filming a movie.
Police took Duff into custody until they could verify his story.
Indiana State Police are still investigating the shooting.
