PULASKI, Va. – The state attorney's office is asking for a full-court review in Ashley White's appeal.
White was convicted last year in the death of her son, Noah Thomas, who was found in a septic tank near his home after a multi-day search.
White served nearly two years in prison, but her attorney appealed the verdict.
Last month, a three-judge panel overturned the conviction for child abuse and neglect.
If the panel decides to take the case, it could result in the conviction being reinstated.
