Man dies in Rockbridge County crash

Virginia State Police say crash happened at 1:30 p.m. Sunday

ROCKBRIDGE CO., Va. – A Pennsylvania man is dead after his motorcycle hit a car in Rockbridge County.

Virginia State Police say the crash happened at 1:30 p.m. Sunday on Route 56 just north of Lodge Trail.

Paul F. Rosa, 44, or McKeesport, Pennsylvania was driving a 2002 Honda CBR F4 motorcycle when he crossed the center line and hit a 2013 GMC Terrain.

Rosa was wearing a helmet and died at the scene.

The drive of the GMC, Daniel A. Laudick, 29, of Cedar Falls, Iowa , was wearing his seat belt and was not hurt.

The crash is still under investigation.
