ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. – Police are investigating after they say a man was robbed at gunpoint in Roanoke County.
On Sept. 28, police say a man contacted a woman through a social media account and was planning to meet her.
However, when he arrived at the location in the 3900 block of Brambleton Avenue at about 11 p.m., he was approached by two men who robbed him, according to police.
The suspects are described as a white woman in her mid-20s with long dark hair, a slim-built black man in his mid-30s who is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and a heavy-set black man believed to be in his late 20s who is about 5 feet 11 inches tall.
This was a targeted event and police believe there is no threat to residents in the area or the general public.
There have been no arrests made at this time.
