ROANOKE, Va. –
The annual Go Outside Festival kicks off Friday.
Organizers have been out transforming the Rivers Edge Sports Complex all day for the festival, which they say is a celebration of everything outdoors.
This is a chance for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy a combination of activities, including music, races and much more.
“It's a celebration of what our community is becoming. This is a free, outdoor sports festival with hiking, paddling, climbing, eating and everything you can think of,” said organizer Pete Eshelman, at Go Outside Festival.
The festival continues with a variety of activities all weekend.
