Danville Community College celebrates Halloween

College held 'bash' for students Tuesday

DANVILLE, Va. – Danville Community College students are proving you're never too old to celebrate Halloween.

On Tuesday, the college hosted a Halloween bash.

Students decorated pumpkins, played games and had Halloween-themed pictures taken.

Children from the college's early child care center were also able to join the fun.

Clyde Hill is studying computer graphic technology at DCC.

He said Halloween is not his favorite holiday, but believes celebrating is still important.

"We've got to celebrate. Danville Community College, we're all a family. We like to have fun," Hill said. "Really appreciate the school doing something nice for the students. We work hard all year and it's finally paying off."

Sova Health also had a mobile blood donation center set up to encourage students to donate.
