ROANOKE – If you have a sugar overload already after Halloween, you can turn in your candy for toys and the candy goes to troops overseas.
Kool Smiles is doing the exchange again for the sixth year. In 2016, children donated more than four tons of candy.

Every child who donates 25 pieces of candy will get one toy, with a limit of three toys.
The candy exchange runs through Saturday, November 4.
