ROANOKE – Downtown Roanoke, Inc. is doing Park DRI again this year, the validation
program for downtown retailers and restaurants, in time for the holidays. Participating
downtown businesses will provide Park DRI passes to their customers. Passes can be
redeemed for up to 2 hours of free parking in designated PARK Roanoke garages any day
prior to the expiration on January 31, 2018. The Park DRI program will run from November 1,
2017 to January 31, 2018.

The program is a collaboration between Downtown Roanoke, Inc. and PARK Roanoke. "Park
DRI was an exceptionally popular initiative last year. As a downtown retailer, I'm delighted to
see the program return for a second holiday season!" said Robert Jaeger with The Candy
Store.

The goal is to encourage new customers to come downtown to shop and dine and to educate the public of the convenience of using downtown parking garages.
