James: 30 Days of Hope

Enjoys school, since he is on a more vocational track

ROANOKE – James is a great kid who will lift your spirits when you are with him! The 16-year old loves to be with others and enjoys helping in whatever way he can. He is very caring and will be the first to offer a listening ear or a helping hand. He enjoys time spent with a good friend, his age, but also relates well with adults. When he gets to know you, he loves to talk.

James enjoys school, since he is on a more vocational track. He enjoys learning how to fix things and does best with hands-on-experience. He has been helping with a maintenance crew and loves every opportunity to work with them. James is very proud when he helps with a gardening and painting and wants to show off his work.

James loves to eat and loves most foods. He enjoys trying new foods and restaurants. He loves to be outdoors and his favorite thing to do is to wash a car or mow a lawn. He loves to play basketball and says he would love to play professionally. James loves to fish and will be the first one out the door, if the word fishing is mentioned.

James wants a family and is looking forward to finding a forever-home, where he will be able to feel that he belongs. James is a kid that you will want to meet and spend time with!
