Roanoke house fire sends resident to hospital

ROANOKE, Va. – One person is in the hospital after a house caught fire in Roanoke Friday morning. 

It started at a home in the 4800 block of Northwood Dr. around 12:40 a.m. 

Officials are investigating what may have caused the fire.
