Lynchburg police ask for help finding stolen car

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Lynchburg police are searching for a car stolen early Monday morning.

The 2009 four-door Chevy Impala was stolen from the 2500 block of Rivermont Avenue, according to police.

The dark brown sedan has a Virginia license plate with tags 5968UV. This plate is a University of Virginia license plate and has large orange “V” on one side of the plate.

Additionally in the vehicle was a set of golf clubs. The golf bag is described as a red and black TiTech bag, which contained a TiTech set of irons, a Taylor Made Burner driver and a Ping putter.
