Roanoke man wins $1,000,000 in Virginia Lottery game

Tony Allie decides to retire since winning lottery

VINTON, Va. – A semi-retired Roanoke man just won the $1 million top prize in the Virginia Lottery's Bank a Million game.

Tony Allie, who has been semi-retired for about a year, says he's now ready for full-time retirement since winning this top prize.

He received the big check from the Virginia Lottery at the Be Quick Market in Vinton.

That's where he purchased the winning ticket.

“We're going to invest some of it and spend a little bit of it and give some of it to the children and try to enjoy life now,” Allie said.

Allie says he and his wife also plan to do some remodeling at their home, and make plans for retirement.
