ROANOKE – The Pulaski County School Board is holding a Budget Public Hearing and Work Session at 5:00 p.m. They are expected to talk about the top ten capital improvement priority list, support staff salaries, and school board budget priorities.
Danville Community College is holding a Small Business Idea Fair. Students will showcase their business ideas and compete for scholarships and start-up money.

The lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree is a New York City holiday tradition. The 85th annual holiday show at Rockefeller Plaza will begin at 7 p.m., with performances by various artists. The tree comes from the backyard of Jason Perrin, it will be decorated with 50,000 lights, a Swarovski star will be placed atop the tree next week and the tree will remain lit until Jan. 7.
