Ohio police officer accidentally stuns partner

RIVERSIDE, OHIO – An Ohio police officer accidentally Tased his partner while responding to a domestic call on Thanksgiving.

When a man inside the vehicle that officers responded to refused to show them his identification,  they pulled him out of the vehicle to arrest him, according to WDTN.

The Dayton, Ohio NBC affiliate reports that as he resisted arrest, one officer aimed his stun gun at him, but instead of hitting him, one of the prongs hit the second officer.

The officer was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. The officer who used his stun gun is back on the job.

The suspect, 22-year-old Christopher McClinton, faces charges of failure to disclose, resisting arrest and obstructing official business.
