DANVILLE, Va. – We now know how busy Danville police were as the snow was falling.
Between 7 p.m. Friday and 5:30 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to 18 calls for service.

Seven were for traffic control, four were for crashes, two were for reckless driving, one was for property damage and the remaining four were what the department says were miscellaneous incidents.
