DANVILLE, Va. – Danville police have arrested a man accused of stealing packages from a home on Monday afternoon.
The victim, located on the 1000 block of Main St., had a home security system that included video, which captured the theft.

The victim posted the video to social media asking the public to share the video and requesting help in identifying the suspect. Information developed from the victim's post subsequently led to an arrest and resulted in the recovery of some of the stolen items.
Jerry Lewis Hood Jr., 26, of Danville, is charged with grand larceny. He was released on bond shortly after his arrest.
