Martinsville City Council will get information tonight about the appointment of a temporary Commonwealth's Attorney.  Clay Gravely resigned from the position due to health reason.  Virginia law states that his deputy, Andy Hall, will take over through the end of next year.  State law also says that a special election must be held in November of 2018 to fill the position for the remainder of the term, which expires in 2021.
