Liberty University women's basketball team stuck in Atlanta airport after power outage

School officials say the team was stuck on the tarmac for three hours

LYNCHBURG, Va. – People here at home also felt the effects of the Atlanta airport power outage.

The Liberty University women's basketball team was stuck on the tarmac for about three hours on their way to a tournament. Officials say the women were on a bus on their way to Kansas City.

The team is expected to arrive in Kansas City by about 8:30 p.m. their time.  

School officials say that's just enough time to make it for their tournament.
