Pulaski Post Office to reopen Wednesday

Post office was closed in July for safety reasons

PULASKI, Va. – After being closed for five months, the Pulaski Post Office will reopen on Wednesday.

The post office was closed on July 20 due to water intrusion, which caused concern about the flooring in the building, according to a letter from the U.S. Postal Service to Virginia Sen. Mark Warner.

The newly remodeled post office will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday 9:30 a.m. to noon, and will sell stamps, money orders, packaging supplies and have PO Boxes available for rent.

It will also carry Expedited service packaging (free Priority Flat-Rate boxes and envelopes) for added convenience in mailing packages, according to the U.S. Postal Service.
