RIVERSIDE, Calif. – A Riverside, California, couple were arrested after police said they found them using a drone to deliver drugs, KCBS-TV reports.
According to the Riverside Police Department, detectives saw a drone carrying small packages from a yard to a nearby church parking lot.

"Well, it's new for us, at least," Riverside police Officer Ryan Railsback told KABC-TV.
KABCÂ reports neighbors would drive by the home after the drugs were delivered and throw money onto the front lawn.
According to the KCBS report, Benjamin Baldassarre, 39, and Ashley Carroll, 31, were arrested on multiple charges, including possession of controlled substances, conspiracy to commit a crime and child endangerment.
Officers said that when they raided the couple's home, they found Baldassarre's 9-year-old daughter living in the there. Officers also found methamphetamine, candy laced with LSD and fentanyl in powder form, KABC reports.
Neighbors first reported the activity to police as the residents suspected drugs.
"Our detectives did go out there and they conducted surveillance," Railsback told KABC. "And sure enough, they saw this drone flying, and what appeared to be this drone dropping or leaving some possible narcotics in a parking lot."
Carroll pleaded not guilt at her Tuesday arraignment. Baldassarre was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday morning, KCBS reports.
According to KABC, the girl had been living with her father. She's been removed from the home and reunited with her mother.
