911 service returns to Boones Mill

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. – A cut cable that affected 911 services in Boones Mill has been repaired and services are working again.

Some people in the Boones Mill area of Franklin County may have trouble reaching 911 on Friday morning. 

A cable has been cut, which is affecting 911 services. Only landlines are affected. 

Anyone that cannot get through to 911 needs to call 540-483-9227. 

Crews are working to fix the issue, but there is no estimate yet for how long repairs could take.
