ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. – An Albemarle County doctor faces multiple sexual assault charges.
Detectives with the Albemarle County Police Department arrested Dr. Mark Hormuz Dean on Friday.

He's charged with two felony counts of rape, two felony counts of object sexual penetration and one felony count of forcible sodomy.
Dean allegedly assaulted victims at the Albemarle Pain Management Associates Clinic.
NBC29 reports that some allegations date back to 2005, and that there are multiple victims.
He is currently being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail without bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
