LYNCHBURG, Va. – Lynchburg police are investigating after a woman was stabbed in the leg overnight at Phase 2 Dining and Entertainment.

911 dispatchers received multiple reports of the stabbing that police say happened at 2:14 a.m. at the business at 4009 Murray Place in Lynchburg.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a 26-year-old woman who had received a severe laceration to the leg during an altercation, Lynchburg police said. She was taken to the hospital where she received treatment for her injuries.
